PRESS RELEASE INDEPENDENT AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Independent Audit Advisory Committee of the United Nations (IAAC) held its fifty-first session from 22 - 24 July 2020. Due to the ongoing challenges associated with the pandemic, the meetings were held virtually. The session was presided over by the Chair, Janet St. Laurent. All the other members of the Committee, namely: Richard Quartei Quartey (Vice-Chair), Dorothy Bradley, Anton Kosyanenko, and Agus Pramono were in attendance.

The SAIs of Russia and Slovenia took stock of the parallel audit of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, science and education
On July 16, 2020, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Aleksei Kudrin and President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia Tomaž Vesel held a videoconference. The parties discussed the results of the parallel audit (held in 2019–2020) of the implementation of two intergovernmental agreements: on cooperation in the field of culture, science and education, and the establishment and operation of the scientific and cultural centres.

The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation held the first virtual meeting of SCEI Expert Group on Covid-19
On June 22, 2020, SAI of Russia held the first virtual meeting of SCEI Expert Group which is focused on Strategic role of SAIs in addressing challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic. This new format of cooperation was established within INTOSAI Supervisory Committee on Emerging Issues, chaired by SAI of Russia.
